Bryntysilio goes to Scrutiny tonight

The report on the future of Walsall Council’s outdoor activities centre Bryntysilio goes to the Communities Scrutiny today.

It’s very reminiscent of the reports which looked at the future (or lack of) for Sneyd School. It points to 4 options, but the option to “Not Continue” with Bryntysilio appears to be the “favoured”  one.

The report concentrates on costs which seems to “kick into touch” Tory cabinet member Chris Towe’s protestations that children were the primary concern rather than money.

It will be interesting to see how tonight’s meeting goes. Will it be making the case for yet another Tory cut or will it be looking at the Brytysilio experience and does it deliver what is expected of it? Can it be improved? if so how?
