Willenhall Liberal Democrats will be seeking talks with Walsall NHS in a further bid to get the health authority to not only recognise the lack of a Health Centre in the Short Heath area, but to take action to secure such a facility in the area reports Liberal Democrat councillor Ian Shires.
The renewed call for action not words comes following the closure and demolition of Lane Head Methodist Church on High Road. “This site would be ideal” said Ian. “It stands at the very heart of the community and would be easily accessible by public transport” he concluded.
