A letter in the local press last week sort of puts the AV debate in context. The writer said that he had not made up his mind about which way to vote in the referendum until he read the stuff that came through his door from the NO Vote Campaign.
The writer went on to say that when he saw the number of existing MPs and Peers who were opposed to the change to AV he became convinced that it would be in his best interests to vote Yes to AV.
