ProtrustHoldings Ltd has appealed to the Secretary of State against the Council’s decision to refuse planning permission to redevelop land to the side of 33-55 Castle Drive, Willenhall to provide two 2-bed flats, amenity space including the demolition of existing garages and replacement and provision of new parking.

A hard copy can be purchased from Walsall Council by phoning 01922 652413 or by visiting the First Stop Shop at the Civic Centre, Darwall Street, Walsall, or in writing to Walsall Council, 2nd Floor, Civic Centre, Darwall Street, Walsall WS1 1DG. The fee payable is £4.
The appeal will be determined by the Secretary of State either by granting or refusing the planning permission and will be dealt with by written representations. for those residents wishing to do this you are asked to make any observations in writing to the Planning Inspectorate, Room 3/18, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN. You will need to enclose three copies of your letter and quote the appeal reference APP/V4630/A/11/2156425/NWF and must get there by 23 August 2011. Any later than that then your representations may not be considered.
The reason for the need for three copies is so that the Council and the appellant can be made aware of your views.
Any representations already made to the Council will be made known to the appellant and the Secretary of State. There is no need to write again unless you specifically you wish to do so or you wish to receive a copy of the appeal decision.
