Today David Cameron announced Conservative plans to raise the personal tax allowance to £12,500 – something that Lib Dems have long been campaigning for.

While we’re flattered that the Tories are copying our policy, their plans also include giving huge tax cuts to the richest 10%. Only the Lib Dems can be trusted to deliver tax cuts for workers fairly.
