Poets Corner PH seeking extension to opening hours

I have received the following notification that the Poets Corner PH in Keats Road is applying to the Council for an extension of its opening hours.

Currently they can stay open on a Friday and Saturday night till 1.00 am the next day. They are looking to extend this to 2.00 am

If you live in the area as a Ward Councillor I would like to know your views on this. You can use the contact button on this page to do that. You need to have any comments lodged with the Council’s Licensing Unit by 16th April 2015.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION

 

VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

 

Premises Poets Corner

51 Keats Road

Short Heath

Willenhall

WV12 5HY

 

Notice is hereby given that PSK Pubs Ltd has applied to Walsall Council as the Licensing Authority for the variation of a premises licence under S.34 of the Licensing Act 2003.

The Proposed Variation(s)
 

The variation application is to cover the extension of consumption alcohol on and off the premises on a Saturday and Sunday morning from the present 01.00hrs until 02.00hrs.

Members of the public must be clear of the premises by 2.30hrs on a Saturday and Sunday morning.

All other licensable activities, times and conditions will remain in force as per the present premises licence.

 

 

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: The Licensing Unit, Civic Centre, Darwall Street, Walsall, WS1 1TP. Representations must be received no later than:

16th April 2015.

 

The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address.

 

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale(£5000)
