Local Lib Dem Teams get on with the job

by Ian Shires on 26 May, 2015

sign postWhilst some have been basking in the post election vacuum, your local Liberal Democrat Focus Team has been getting on with the job you elected it to do, work in the best interests of those who live and work in New Invention and Short Heath.

Since the Local Election on Thursday 7th May we have between us held eight Advice Surgeries, been on a Walkabout with Residents Representatives, Walsall Housing Group and Walsall Council on Allens Rough and Beacon Estates, discussed with residents concerns they have with Planning Applications on the former Meadow House and Cavalcade Pub sites.

We have also seen first hand problems residents in a part of Essington Road are having with crumbling footpaths and a neglected car park. The Team has been involved in trying to get Walsall Housing Group to act to replace leaking radiators for one tenant and damp in another property and has been out talking to residents about concerns they have with the school run parking around Pool Hayes Primary School.

All part of the all year round service and action delivered by the Willenhall North and Short Heath Liberal Democrat Focus Teams. Whilst others just talk about it we get on with the job.
