Bus users in the North Willenhall area are reporting reliability issues on the 69 National Express West Midlands (NXWM) Walsall to Wolverhampton via New Invention bus service.

“We are getting reports that buses are running late or just not turning up” said Liberal Democrat Cllr Ian Shires.

Only the other day we were told of one bus which was due to go on to Walsall unexpectedly terminated at The Square, New Invention. The explanation given to passengers was that the bus was running so late that the driver had been told to return to Wolverhampton leaving passengers abandoned to find alternative services. “This is totally unacceptable” said Ian.

Willenhall Liberal Democrats will be discussing this incident and the poor reliability of this service with NXWM and CENTRO.
