The Willenhall Liberal Democrat Focus Team has been busy over this the last weekend of the summer holidays. 

Then – 15th July

We revisited the Shopping Precinct in Nottingham Drive on Saturday and were disappointed to see that the private owners had done nothing about its run down appearance.

In fact there was hardly any difference in the way it looked from our last visit back on the 15th July. The same fridge remains abandoned up the corner as do the toys and other general rubbish around the bins.

We know that there are problems for the owners not of their making. The land surrounding the shops is not in their ownership for a start and some of the rubbish has been dumped on the site. Never the less local residents should not have to put up with this blot on the landscape. Ian and the Team will be taking the matter up once again with Walsall Council’s Environmental Health Department.
