Your chance to have your say in the future of Willenhall

by Ian Shires on 25 September, 2015

imagesWalsall Planning 2026 – Site Allocation Document: Doesn’t sound very interesting does it? Yet it’s probably one of the most consultation exercises that Walsall Council has carried out in a long while. It deals with options for land use right across the borough. This is your chance to have a say in how the area you live in will look by 2026.

Some of the proposals are controversial which is all the more reason you need to take time out to have a look at the options and say whether you like or dislike any of them. Willenhall residents will get a chance to see the plans first hand and be able to ask questions of the planners and make their views known at a consultation event which comes to town Monday 12th October at the CHART 19 Gomer Street, Willenhall between 10.00am and 1.oopm. If you are unable to get along people can view, and subscribe to a blog site where there will be weekly posting on questions on the plans:

Facebook page and Twitter account will be used to share these questions and to promote the consultation events:

  • Information has gone up in New Invention Library & New Invention Square (on the Community Notice Board).
  • A display is also being organised in Willenhall Library.

Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Make sure your voice is heard
