Broken and loose curb stones at the junction of Bridgenorth Grove and The Hayes have been repaired thanks to swift action by the Short Heath Lib Dem Focus Team.

Local residents will know that this particular junction gets very busy due to School run traffic, add to that the danger to Primary School age kids walking up to Pool Hayes Primary at the top of Bridgenorth Grove and you can see the need for urgent action. A concerned resident pointed out the problem to Lib Dem Cllr Ian Shires whilst he was out and about giving Activist Dan Barker and his team a helpling hand delivering his regular Focus Newsletter.

To cut a long story short the problem was reported to the council and the team has just been notified that the work has been completed.
