Walsall’s Tory administration announced earlier this week that work was about to begin on a controversial one-way system in Caldmore, Walsall.

Why is this significant for those living in Willenhall? It’s significant because the funding for this controversial scheme was originally intended to be used to sort out congestion and parking problems around the shopping precinct at the junction of Pool Hayes Lane with Lucknow Road.

This is the latest in a list of let downs by local Tories which go back to 2010 with the closure of Willenhall Leisure Centre through to today with the pending loss of local partnership working and the closure of New Invention Library.
