If you haven’t voted already and you’re thinking of voting Tory because of the letter you received from them, I just wanted to point out one or two statements in it that might have misled you.

When he talks about being born in the borough, that just means born somewhere in Walsall, and when he mentions Manor Farm Community Association, that has nothing to do with the Manor Farm Estate, Short Heath, and everything to do with Manor Farm School in Rushall.

Now I was not born in Short Heath either, but I have been campaigning round here for 20 years which I reckon is more than all three of my opponents put together.

The point is, I don’t want anyone to be misled by some of the vague statements made in others’ glossy leaflets.

I will work hard for you as much as I can, and though as a Christian I would never claim to be perfect, I would never try to pull the wool over your eyes!
