Good turnout at the Remembrance Sunday parade and service at Short Heath War Memorial, High Road, Lane Head.
The proceedings went off without a hitch and the new marshalling arrangements worked well and there were people from all sections of our diverse community paying their respects to all those who died protecting our freedoms.

You may wish to ask the police why they cannot Marshall this event when their colleagues in Somerset do so Marshall.
West Midlands Police have historically been underfunded. The problem rests with the Westminster Government and we should not play off one force against another as we are not comparing like with like.
There were Police at our Remembrance Parade most of whom were there on their rest days.
