Whilst other Parties are “busy” electioneering local Lib Dems deal with things that matter to you.

by Ian Shires on 1 May, 2015

150422 PoliceWillenhall North’s Liberal Democrat Councillor Ian Shires took time out to discuss anti social behaviour, vandalism and community safety concerns of residents living on The Hamlet, Sneyd Park and Allens Rough with local Police Community Safety Officers (PCSOs) at Police Crime Prevention Event they’d organised at New Invention Library yesterday.

The discussions with the PCSOs took place following a walkabout Ian had organised with officers responsible for community safety at Walsall Council and Walsall Housing Group (WHG) and were sparked by an increase in reports of anti social behaviour in and around a 150308_WN Kewstoke Rd Alleynumber of the walkways linking the three estates.

Following the walkabout and the feedback from residents the PCSOs will be spending more time in the area gathering evidence and working with Partners at the Council and WHG to resolve the issues of concern. This will include looking at the possibility of reducing the number of footpath links between the various estates.
