Just a quick update on where the Council is at on the issue of the Unauthorised Encampment on land off Goscote Lane:

A court summons has been served on the  travellers currently on the Goscote Lane site. The court hearing will take place at Walsall Magistrates today, Thursday 24^th August at 14:00 Hrs. Providing the eviction notice is granted by the court, the legal notice ordering them to leave the land will be served later in the afternoon.

Formal eviction (if they do not leave of their own volition) will then take place as soon as possible.
