Tuesday 12th December Bin update:

With very icy conditions underfoot and with some bins actually frozen to the floor, the decision has been made to suspend bin collections today.

Weekly collection for the Christmas period commences next week and so if bins are put out then they will be collected and side waste will be collected with them.

Fryers Rd tip will remain closed today as will Merchants Way, but they will be open the rest of this week to receive waste for people who are concerned about waste build up.

Collections should resume tomorrow as temperatures are predicted to rise overnight with rain forecast, but watch for further bulletins confirming this.
