Have had a message from Kier Services / Highways about work they are carrying out on the M6 J7-8 Rushall Canal Bridge Joint Replacement.

The message is as follows:-

We will carry out the joint replacement work overnight from Monday, 5 March to Saturday, 10 March. Due to the cold weather conditions last week, we had to postpone this essential work.

The M6 northbound from J7-8 will be closed from 10pm each night and will re-open by 6am each morning.

The northbound on-slip at junction 7 (Walsall & A34 ) will also be closed so there will be no access to the M6 north or the M5 from this slip.
