So Walsall North’s Tory MP Eddie Hughes who incidentally is still Councillor for leafy Streetly Ward in Aldridge Brownhills  has posted on his Facebook page about the Conservative Government doubling fines for littering:

 “The Conservative Government have doubled littering fines from £80 to £150 in a crack down on littering.” Said Eddie.

Now forgive me for being just a little pedantic, but I thought that double £80 = £160 not as Eddie seems to think £150. If he gets simple maths wrong is it any wonder the Tories made a hash of the Budget?
