Have had more discussions today with bosses at Clean and Green about the bin issues many of you have told us about.

Earlier this year we were getting numerous complaints about bins being missed on regular collection day. An analysis of the problems has been carried out and hopefully a solution has now been found.

The longer working day that came with the latest changes in collection days has resulted in the vehicles getting caught up in congestion which is the root cause of the problem. There are now plans in the pipeline which should hopefully see the problem of missed bins resolved.

It will take a couple of weeks to finalise but after that things should get back to normal. Let us know if it doesn’t.
