Didn’t go to the Civic event in Walsall, nor the one in Willenhall or Short Heath. Joined a small group of residents from New Invention at the World War 1 memorial on the Community Green opposite The Square, New Invention.
Couple of young lads who had come along with their mom added their poppies to the on the Wendy Evans laid on behalf of our community. Nothing official, Just impromptu. Alone with our thoughts………

We went to the Remembrance and Reconciliation Service at St Matthews Church in Walsall. With the borough organist Peter Morris choirs from across the borough two choirs from France and two from Germany. Also Wolverhampton Symphony Orchestra. A truly memorable service. Andy Street and our Mayor were there. Didn’t see it reported in the Chronicle.
