I have just this morning had a conversation with a representative of ALDI who has confirmed to me that work is about to start on site in a matter of days. They have been in touch with immediate neighbours to inform them of this.

They still can’t give a definite opening date, if you remember I was given a revised provisional date of 22 August 2019. It now looks as if the opening will be delayed a little but on a positive note I was told that it would be in the 4th quarter of this year so that’s September to December.
