There will be roadworks at the following sites this month:

1.  Cannock Road near its junction with Littleton Road:  There will be temporary lights in operation on 17th March between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm for one day only whilst Telecoms carry out a mains repair.
2. Wednesfield Road at its junction with Clothier Street:  There will be temporary lights in operation between 24th March and 25th March from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm whilst Severn Trent carry out water mains repairs.
3.  Walsall Road at its junction with Birmingham Street:  There will be temporary lights in operation on 12th March for one day only between 9.30 am and 4.00 pm whilst Severn Trent carry out a manhole frame and cover repair.

There are a number of sites where residents have contacted us following a lack of response from utility companies (oh the joys of privatisation!).

In particular there are three sites where manhole frames and covers need replacing. These are just past the Bus Stop on the Lichfield Road as you approach to The Gate Island coming from The Square. There are two sites on the Essington Road both on the southbound side. The first is just past the junction with Reedley Road the second is just past Baynton Road. Severn Trent are the responsible body. Have to say they seem to be the ones we get most complaints about. They do take far too long to sort the problems out.
