It will be a sad day if Tory MPs vote to accept that Johnson can get away with breaking the law, a law which he imposed on the rest of us.
As Johnson skips off on a delayed visit to India, his MPs were given a talking to about the consequences of not voting against any attempts to hold him to account and apply the same Ministerial Code that forced the resignation of Matt Hancox. Tow the Party line or you will be out, and bang goes your chances of being reselected to defend your £80K+ MPs job at the next General Election.
Johnson has said on numerous occasions that he didn’t realise he’d broken any rules when he attended a “leaving do” at No10.
Not to understand a set of rules that he put together and presented to the nation on television just shows his absolute contempt for us ordinary mortals. Ignorance of the Law is no excuse.
Is it any wonder that people have a low opinion of politicians, when the most senior of them in the Land, namely one Alexander Boris di Pfeffel Johnson PM sets such low standards.
Sure, there are other important things going on in the world right now.
But don’t let this poor excuse of a prime minister deflect you away from the facts. It is he that he who has broken the Ministerial Code, he who has been found guilty of breaking the law we all abided by.
Nobody worth their salt would ever trust what he had to say, what good is that on the world stage. When it comes to the vote Eddie Hughes MP (Con) Walsall North, do what is right. Uphold the Law for without that, anarchy will descend.
