Things were looking much more promising this morning when I visited the site for the new ALDI store in Coppice Farm Way. Scaffolding was up and preparations were underway to begin demolishing the former Budgens store.
I had a long chat with the Site Manager, Andy who lives locally which is good. He knows the site and the people well. So things are starting to look up after a shaky start and the prospect of a September opening looks doable for once, might even be a few weeks sooner maybe.
Any issues, Andy is on site most days, or you can message me through this site.
