New COVID-19 restrictions have been announced for Walsall residents as a result of the government’s new local alert system. These restrictions will come into effect tomorrow, Wednesday 14 October.
From tomorrow, all students in years 7-13 (at secondary school/college) are asked to now wear face coverings in corridors and communal areas. The same is the case for staff and visitors. This is to provide additional protection in areas where social distancing is difficult to maintain. Face coverings can be removed at break times when seated at a table to eat or drink.
