Just when is Severn Trent going to sort out the water leak which has created a lake on the pedestrian crossing outside New Invention Junior School in Cannock Road?

The problem has been ongoing for a couple of weeks or more. You can only imagine the damage that it’s doing to the road structure? Your Liberal Democrat Focus Team have asked the Council to demand Severn Trent get on with it and fix the leak.

There are those who will remember the good old days when the public owned the water company, we thought that that was inefficient, the private sector seems a damned site worse!

This is purely a personal view, I reckon that such as water, power and transport should be in public ownership. Just saying….
