Public Consultation: Taxi licence conditions and supporting policies

Public consultation on Licensing conditions for the taxi and private hire trade within Walsall.

Following widespread involvement from across the council in the development of the new proposals, the project team recognises that you may have valuable insights regarding the contents of these documents. You are therefore requested to provide your comments on the suite of documents that have been developed to bring the council’s licensing conditions up to date.

These proposals will affect the existing taxi hackney carriage and private hire conditions and will also introduce a range of supporting policies which can be found in the link below.

Consultation documentation can be found via the Council’s website:

www.walsall.gov.uk/Taxi_and_Private_Hire_Consultation_2018

Comments can be sent through the Public questionnaire available on the link above.

Copies of the public questionnaire and consultation documentation is also available at all Walsall libraries.

For any specific queries you can email  TaxiConditionsFeedback@walsall.gov.uk

Please note the consultation is open until 13th August 2018.
