Just had this message back off Walsall Council after I chased up an inquiry I made almost two ago about the VAS on the approach to The Square from The Gate Island.

Further to our conversation regarding the Vehicle Activated Speed Signal on Lichfield Road. I have been advised that the signs are now working correctly and triggered at 30mph.

My response was that it must have been sorted late yesterday or today because I triggered it at around 3.30pm yesterday and I was doing less than 25 mph. Haven’t been past it today, but if you have and it’s still not working correctly please message me.
