Don’t Plonk It, Park It!

I saw this from Police in Willenhall on Twitter this morning concerning irresponsible parking :
Please be considerate when parking your vehicles. We receive daily complaints about parking issues that could be prevented if drivers were thoughtful. Officers have be issuing warnings to owners of vehicles about irresponsible parking. Don’t Plonk It, Park It!
This message equally applies to the misery caused by some parents (or grandparents) on the daily school run who think that it’s OK to plonk their cars across residents driveways as witnessed below:
In-spite of regular efforts by schools to appeal to drivers better nature asking them not to park irresponsibly, some simply choose to ignore advice. The next stage in trying to resolve this issue will be to involve the Police who quite frankly are hard pressed enough trying to deal with car theft, break-ins and knife crime.

Hi I would love to use some
Of the leaflets ‘don’t plonk it, park it outside my sons school. It’s awful… on a daily basis, I have tried with the head teacher but she has said unless there’s police presence there’s nothing they can do. Is there anything you can do to help?? The bus stops are the worst as my mum uses them and struggles to get on and off due to parents parking in them. Thanks Sara Macey

Which school is it? There are things that can be done but it may depend on where you live, the town? district?
