There have been a couple of issues which have been causing concern for the residents in Willenhall North recently, namely off-road bikes using main roads and our green spaces and vehicle crime. 
Following up on complaints they have received the Police have sent me this update which I thought I would share with you.

Community Update
Dear Residents,

Here’s a quick round up for you of what’s been happening in Willenhall North this last week.

We are aware of an increase in off road bikes using the main roads and green spaces, thank you for all the descriptions being provided to Police. We are actively targeting the locations off road bikes have been spotted and working with Walsall Council to tackle this issue.

Issues with off road bikes can also be reported directly to Walsall Council’s Community Protection Team using – communityprotection@walsall.gov.uk and/or 01922 653060.

We have had a number of incidents of vehicle crime in the area recently. Officers are currently investigating a series of incidents whereby vehicles have been stolen following a burglary. There have been several stolen vehicles located across Willenhall the last few weeks – thank you again to the public who alert us regarding suspicious vehicles.

Coming up!!

We would like to make you aware that the first National week of Action against Knife crime for 2022 will start on Monday 16th May – Sunday 22nd May. Officers will be involved in a number of operations, youth engagement and proactive patrols.
