I have been informed by highways Officers at Walsall Council that the frame and cover on Lichfield Road near Forest Gate has been repaired today by Severn Trent Water as planned. An officer from the Council will be checking that the noise problem has now been resolved.

Highways Officers are also awaiting confirmation off Severn Trent Water that the noisy cover and frame by the Texaco Garage on Lichfield Road near the Pooles Lane junction has been put on their works programme to repair / replace . As soon as a date for this to be done I will put an update on here.
