Recently had a walkabout with officers from Walsall Housing Group (WHG) and took the opportunity to discuss a number of “estate management” issues which many of you who are tenants of WHG have raised with us.

We were also able to pick up on the fly tipping and littering problems on WHG land across Allens Rough, the Beacon Estate, Forrest Gate, Hawthorne Rd and Pimbury Rd/Trinity Rd off Coltham Road and the Poets Corner Estate.

Walsall Housing Group Teams have been out across the area removing some of the fly tipping. Other action will be taken to get rid of the more bulky items.

The Willenhall Lib Dem Teams across New Invention and Short Heath have also been putting pressure on Walsall Council’s Clean and Green service to remove fly tipping and litter from council land. As fast as the rubbish is removed more appears in its place.
